It was pomp and glamour during Kampala Parents’ School (KPS)’s annual Sports Day which was held on Saturday.
The colourful event was kicked off by a spectacular parade that was led by boy scouts who marched to the delight of their proud parents.
Scouts and Uganda Red Cross Society also took part in the parade at the education facility’s sports grounds.
After the parade, pupils were engaged in various on pitch activities that included athletics and fun games like the sack race.
One of the excited parents said, “It’s also an opportunity for parents to come together. It links the school with the community,”
“Every parent’s dream is to see their children flourish in a life of endless opportunities,” noted Ms. Daphine Kato the school’s Principal.
KPS is one of the leading private primary schools in the country and its owned by property mogul Sudhir Ruparelia.
