The Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) Mike Chibita has today dropped attempted murder charges against city socialite Brian Kirumira.
The dismissal of the court proceedings came after Bryan White reconciled with Victor Bitwire on March 9 and he agreed to be compensated and settle things outside court.
After being set free by Makindye Magistrate Court, Bryan White was handed back his passport.
The money splashing socialite said he was happy that the matter is finally solved. He promised to resume his activities of awakening youths from poverty soon.
Last December Bryan White and his bodyguard Thomas Okot were remanded to Luzira Maximum security prisons for attempting to kill his neighbour, Bitwere.
The duo was reported to have shot Bitwire on the night of December 13 in Munyonyo.
