The Uganda National Women football team-Crested Cranes on Wednesday put up a spirited show but fell to a Lilian Adera strike shortly after resumption which condemned Faridah Bulega’s team to a 1-0 defeat to Kenya Harambee Starlets.
It was the first leg of the Africa Women Cup of Nations 2018 journey to Ghana with the return fixture set for 8th of April at the StarTimes Stadium in Lugogo.
The winner on aggregate will qualify to the next round of the qualifiers to play West Africans, Cameroon.
The eventual successful country will thus play among the finalists at the final tournament in Ghana.
