President Yoweri Museveni has appointed his sister Dr. Violet Kajubiri as Deputy Chairperson of Education Service Commission (ESC)
According to Trumpet News, an online news site, Dr. Kajubiri will appear before Parliament Appointments Committee chaired by Speaker Rebecca Kadaga on 12 April, 2018 for vetting.
Dr. Kajubiri will report to Education Minister Janet Museveni whose ministry oversees the commission.
She has been a member of ESC; a position she was appointed to in 2010.
Meanwhile, President Museveni also appointed former Deputy Attorney General Fredrick Ruhindi and Rusoke Busingye as commissioners at Human rights commission.
He also appointed Justice Ralpha Ochan as chairman public service commission, Hilda Musubira as his deputy while Winnie Musoke Kabogoza and Hajjat Jamilah Kamulegeya, Ida Kagaba Tarinyaba,Francis Oryang Lagony, Mukibi Benigina,Johnson Bitarabeho and Laban Nini Kirya are board members.
