Uganda Cranes have finally qualified for Africa Nations since 1978. It’s glory moment for Cranes.
The historic win over Comoros was sealed by a goal from Farouk Miyo. It was the fight time Janet Museveni as minister of education watching the Cranes. They qualified.
The national side will be part of the elite tournament for the first time in 38 years.
More than 60,000 Ugandans turned out to support Cranes as they cleared their chances to be part of the tournament final in Gabon early next year.
Over 20,000 people were locked out as the Stadium was reported full but the excitement and joy made fans forget their sorrows.
The party in Kampala will go on till the wee hours of Monday morning.
