EBAFOSA The Ecosystem’s Based Adaptation for Food Security Assembly in Africa has won global recognition. The United Nations Environment Assembly has adopted EBAFOSA as an innovative environmental solutions to drive transformational change globally. The UN Environment Assembly concluded meeting in Nairobi last week.
UNEP EBAFOSA is jointly supported by the African Union and endorsed by AMCEN. This is great for the innovative framework now introduced in 40 African countries so far.
Mr Patrick Luganda, President EBAFOSA Uganda and Vice President EBAFOSA Africa said Dr. Richard Munang, the UNEP Africa Climate Change Coordinator who coordinates EBAFOSA at the continental level is due to make the announcement formally in Uganda at the launch of the EBAFOSA/ Buganda Kingdom Cassava Community Production Initiative st Sentema in Busiro County in Wakiso district.
Sentema is the location of the Cassava Quality Multiplication Center for onward multiplication activities in Buganda. Dr. Munang will address a Press Conference tomorrow.
