The Uganda Cranes safely arrived in Kenya (Kakamega) on Saturday evening ahead of the kick off of the 2017 CECAFA Senior challenge cup which officially kicks off on Sunday.
The 30 man Uganda Cranes delegation led by FUFA Executive committee member Chris Kalibbala arrived before 5 pm.
They were checked in the Golf Hotel, same with the Haraambe Stars of Kenya as the hosts prepare for their opening fixture against Rwanda on day one of the 2 weeks tournament.
After a brief rest the team headed to the Kakamega Secondary school play ground for a brief training session.
Defending and record CECAFA champions Uganda will begin their title defence on Monday against Group B opponents Burundi in Kakamega in the only fixture of the day.
South Sudan and Ethipia are the other teams in the Group.
