Police in Soroti yesterday manage to stop a planned robbery of a vehicle belonging to Dr. Kiria. It was at around 1900/c when police got information from Dr. Kiria Fred that they were some people trialling him but he did not know their motive .
The police organized and went verify the information. They found a vehicle number UBB 691’F Toyota Nadia parked in front of that of the victim’s clinic called joint clinic, when they saw police they were trying to take off; police shot one of the tire of their vehicle deflecting the tires but they still drove towards Lira road where police chased them out pressure they abandoned their vehicle no UBB 691F and they took off.
Police recovered the vehicle and inside it they found a phone ,laptop and a bag containing clothes where recovered . investigation are on going and vehicle parked at CPS Soroti .
