After keeping a clean sheet against Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), goalkeeper Samson Kirya is hopeful he will repeat the feat when facing BUL F.C at Kakindu Stadium on Wednesday.
Kirya’s good game reading antics and composed stature in between the goal posts helped the Jogoos.
In an interview with the club website, www.scvillajogoo.co.ug, Kirya believes another clean sheet is a reality.
“Football is team work. But, as the goalkeeper, my major target to help organize the backline. First, we work as a unit not to concede from the forwards, midfielders to the defenders. We want to register that away victory. It is at the back of our minds and coaches remind us everyday,”
The other goalkeeper with the club is Samuel Kivumbi.
SC Villa Jogoo sits 6th on the 16 team log with 13 points.
They are behind leaders Police (17), Onduparaka (16), Vipers (15), Bright Stars (14) and KCCA (13).
This Wednesday, SC Villa Jogoo will visit BUL at the Kakindu stadium as the league returns from the international break.
