Police have vowed to leave no stone unturned while arresting members of the infamous Boda Boda 2010 group.
On Tuesday, criminals belonging to Boda Boda 2010 badly beat up pupils and teachers of Winterland Primary school as they were travelling to perform at the 3rd Annual Community Policing Day which took place at Nkumba University.
The group was accusing the pupils for putting on red ribbon-like clothes on their heads as the anti age limit bill protestors.
The incident happened at Busega round about and in the due process, two police officers who were travelling with the kids were also badly injured by the goons.
In a statement issued today, police spokesperson Asan Kasingye has distanced police from working alongside with the group.
“It is not true that these attackers were working alongside or under the instructions of police as alleged by some media,”
Kasingye says they have opened up investigations into the incident and he has revealed that police will leave no stone unturned, in arresting all those who took part in crime.
He has further warned members of the general public to refrain from taking law in their hands for whatever reason.
