More players have joined the Uganda Cranes ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Ghana on Saturday at Mandela National Stadium.
Seven players joined and were part of the Monday training sessions; they are Isaac Isinde, Joseph Ochaya, Godfrey Walusimbi, Hassan Wasswa, Tonny Mawejje, Edrisa Lubega & Goefrey Serunkuma.
On arrival experienced midfielder Tonny Mawejje who features for Albanian side FKF Tirana said that he is ready to give the best of his ability for Uganda to get positive results.
‘I know how to beat Ghana because I have played more than 4 games against them. I am now rejuvenated and ready to give in all what I have to help Uganda get good results’ said Mawejje.
Training resumes on Tuesday morning before the team engages in a practice match against Madagascar on Wednesday at Lugogo.
