Former Forum for Democratic Change (FDC) presidential candidate Dr. Kizza Besigye tonight is expected to join NBS TV’s famous political show known as the Frontline and is likely to dissect the age limit question, according to Ronald Muhinda, Besigye’s Media Manager.
“President Kizza Besigye will today be on Frontline at 10pm on NBS. He will be alongside Ofwono Opondo,” stated Muhinda.
On several occasions, Besigye has been expressing his fury regarding the amendment of article 102b which aims at lifting the age limit and he has always vowed to block the move by incumbent party NRM which shall see President Yoweri Museveni rule Uganda beyond 75 years of age.
On Tuesday, NRM MPs passed a motion to table a private member bill on the floor of parliament to scrap the age limit.
