After successfully winning the just ended Kyadondo East By- election by a landslide, it has come to our attention that now days the self proclaimed ghetto gladiator singer Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu alias Bobi Wine is no longer available for business especially from public figures.
It all began with famous Ugandan journalist working with BBC Allan Kasujja who tweeted that he was supposed to meet with the newly elected MP at BBC studio in Kampala but since then his phone has been off.
“ Now …after a long nightshift…waiting for @HEBobiwine to make his way to the BBC studio in Kla so we can talk. His phone is off. Katulabe,” Kasujja tweeted.
To make matters worse Arinaitwe Rugyendo, a senior journalist has also revealed that he has been trying to get in touch with the singer since the outgoing East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) speaker Daniel Kidega was longing to have a chat with him but to his dismay Bobi Wine doesn’t pick his calls.
A whole speaker of the EALA has been asking me to deliver him for a chat, Bobi doesn’t pick my calls. This is very strange. This is not the Bobi I met in 2001,” Rugyendo asserted.
Meanwhile, Sarah Kagingo, the former presidential assistant for communication has also tried to reach him but to no avail.
What could have happened to Bobi Wine? Let’s watch the space…
