Deputy Secretary General of the NRM party Richard Todwong is of recent spending more time on his farm than in his office at Kyadondo Road.
Todwong who is using the time after elections to connect with voters in the north, says, he is putting in time to develop his farm and it is promising.
The DSG says he is enjoying every minute he spends on his farm rearing cattle and goats, on top of planting fruits, bananas and trees.
“It’s refreshing to interact with nature. Having visited Dr Kidega’s farm in Gulu yesterday, today I was on my farm at Purongo sub-county Nwoya District. Am trying many things at the same time and they all seems to be doing well. Farming is becoming interesting,” he said on his Facebook.
Todwong who is said to be spending less time at the secretariat since Justine Lumumba usurped all the office functions, is being exemplary in inspiring fellow Ugandans to embrace farming.
