For past two rumours have been moving around social media that the Inspector General of Police (IGP) Kale Kayihura is critically ill and that he was flown to India to seek medical help.
Recently police Spokesperson Asan Kasingye came out to refute the claims citing that Kayihura had gone to Turkey for official work. Unfortunately, many Ugandans remained suspicious thus downplaying Kasingye’s statement.
However, Today it has been proved that indeed Kayihura is in Turkey after photos of him with some turkey officials were released by Uganda police. The police boss is expected to come back to Uganda on Sunday.
” Photos of IGP, Gen. Kale Kayihura visiting Adana Forensic University today. Andana is 650 Kms away from Ankara. He will arrive tomorrow Sunday, 18/06/2017. A team of Uganda police officers will visit the Forensic University at the end of the month. On the photos is the University dean and Uganda’s Amb. to Turkey Amb. Moses Kasujja,” Noted Kasingye.
