Celebrated singer Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool has said he cannot join politics because politicians are always broke people.
While appearing on NTV’s The Beat show on Friday evening, Bebe Cool said when he reach 50 years he will retire from music but he will die an artiste not politician since politicians are broke people.
He said musicians who join politics don’t have music at heart citing that they joined music to get rich but not because they loved music.
“I won’t join politics, politicians are broke people,” Bebe Cool said.
“Artistes who join politics don’t have music at heart, they joined music to get rich but not because they loved music,” he added.
However, he applauded fellow singer Bobi Wine for having joined politics since it will prove to people that musicians too can impact society and cause change.
Meanwhile the 18 and over singer revealed that he cannot support Bobi Wine since both believe in different political ideologies.
