President to Uganda’s football governing body (FUFA) Moses Magogo has continued to prove that in Uganda wonders shall never cease.
We have learnt that the whole Magogo has paid only shs50,000 to each Cranes star after a victorious campaign against Cape Verde on Sunday last week.
The Cranes touched down at Entebbe International airport on Tuesday morning at 3 am aboard Ethiopian airlines ET 366 and they were treated to special dinner and when time for departure knocked around, the stars were dismayed when the team manager Crispus Muyinda started to hand then a 50k note to each player as if he was given a training allowance.
Uganda defeated Cape Verde 1-0 away in Praia after Geoffrey Sserunkuma’s goal and now leads group L of the 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifiers ahead of Lesotho, Tanzania and Cape Verde.
