The Mayor Nakawa Division Ronald Balimwezo Nsubuga has promised fresh dairy to take its challenges to the Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) for solutions that will help lift the company to greater heights.
Nsubuga was accompanied by Nakawa Division Deputy Mayor Namata Florence Mungi and other KCCA Delegates from Nakawa Division today in order to appreciate Fresh Dairy’s commitment to Uganda.
Nsubuga while paying a courtesy visit to the fresh dairy head offices in Kampala industrial area said that they wanted to appreciate Fresh Dairy’s commitment to the nation, understand the organization’s challenges as well as its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and employment stance, among other issues.
“We are here to appreciate your company in Uganda, we have to work closely together with companies to understand their challenges and of now we have visited over 105 large scale companies,” Nsubuga said.
Nsubuga urged Fresh Dairy to document the challenges they face such that they can be addressed by KCCA and also invited Fresh Dairy to the Nakawa Division Stakeholders’ Breakfast meeting scheduled on 28th June 2017.
The Deputy Mayor Ms. Namata Florence also thanked Fresh Dairy for consistency in quality and production and urging the fresh dairy officials to work together with the government in order to develop together.
“This visit is the first-of-its-kind, arranged while aiming at establishing cordial relationships between investors, the community and Government officials,” Namata said.
However, Vincent Omoth the Marketing Manager of Fresh Dairy thanked the mayor for the visit and also expressed that Fresh Dairy is still committed to serve the community.
“We have served our community through various Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities which include breast cancer screening, medical camps, prison visits many others,” Omoth said.
Omoth added that Fresh Dairy recently organized breast cancer screening in 4 markets within Nakawa Division and will continue to be committed to serving the community through continuous Corporate Social Responsibility activities.
Fresh Dairy is a company which deals in milk and other milk products like yoghurt, ghee, butter, powdered milk and many other milk products.
