The Ministry of Trade, Industry and Cooperatives in collaboration with Uganda Export Promotion Board have launched the first Uganda convention in Kampala today which will be organised in Dubai aiming at promoting Uganda’s exports in the Middle East.
The Trade ministry has collaborated with Uganda Export Promotion Board, the private sector, Ugandan Diaspora in Dubai and the United Arab Emirates to organize the convention under the theme “bringing Uganda closer to Middle East market”.

“We are going to give them an opportunity to take products to Dubai and link up with the potential buyers,” Ntaganza noted.
The convention is scheduled to take place from 24th -26th August 2017 at Radisson blue hotel Deira Creek,Dubai, more than 300 Ugandan exporters are expected to participate.
