If the church were to be flexible, Ivan Ssemwanga’s funeral prayer service should have taken place at his favourite hang out place, Guvnor, in Industrial Area Kampala.
However, the monster rides that invaded Namirembe Anglican Cathedral, gave him the necessary parade that he could have wanted around him on the day he attends church, on any occasion, although church is one place the deceased South African based socialite rarely showed up with his swag.
Ivan’s associates laud him as a kind man, who showed godliness in many things he did and they are willing to go an extra mile to do as he would have pleased.

At Namirembe cathedral, from the country saw rides, an aspirations for many a Ugandan, park at church. Many people actually rarely show up there – but this was an opportune time to see the inside of the church.
From singer Bebe Cool, event organiser Lwasa, sports philanthropist Jack Pemba, etc, turned up at Namirembe to show their respect to their late friend.
Ivan, a renown party animal from Kayunga, passed on in South Africa after a stroke. Ivan is the former husband of Zari Hassan, another socialite, now staying in with Tanzanian superstar Diamond Platinumz.
