Wife to former presidential candidate Dr. Kiiza Besigye, Winnie Byanyima has warned President Yoweri and his party NRM not to be tempted to use the high numbers of MPs they have in parliament to lift the presidential age limit.
While delivering an eulogizing message at her father Mzee Boniface Byanyima’s burial in Ruti, Mbarara, the Oxfam Executive Director said Museveni should not be tempted to use his numbers to change the constitution and deny Ugandans the chance for a peaceful transfer of power.
“President Museveni and NRM, don’t be tempted to use your numbers to change the constitution and deny us the chance for a peaceful transfer of power,”????
