National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has been nominated African Utility of the year 2016/2017 for the third year in a row.
The NWSC Managing Director Dr Eng Silver Mugisha is also a finalist for Outstanding Contribution to excellent service delivery in the water sector. The NWSC Director Business and scientific services Dr. Rose Kaggwa is also in the run for Outstanding woman of the year award.
The 17th Edition of the African Utility week will be held at the Cape Town International convention center in South Africa and will bring together over 6000 water and energy professionals.
Notably, NWSC scooped the African Utility of the year awards 2014/2015- 2015/2016. The Corporation hopes to fly the Ugandan flag for the third time in a row at the awards ceremony.
