The photo of Jailed Makerere University research fellow Dr. Stella Nyanzi stepping off the Uganda Prisons Bus for her court appearance on Wednesday has wowed social media.
Nyanzi who chose to be happy even though she is incarcerated, boarded off the prison bus with a jolly smile carrying her crafty bag and she seemed less concerned about the prison life.
In one of the updates on her facebook wall, it said Nyanzi bought some crafts from the ladies at the prison to show her support and care towards them.
The academia is expected to return to court on 10 May,2017 after being denied bail by High Court on Wednesday.
