Horizon International School Uganda, a premier educational institution in Jinja City is proud to announce its 10-year anniversary on 7th September, 2024 in a ceremony expected to be graced by a catalogue of high profile stakeholders especially from the education sector.
The anniversary celebrations, under the theme: “Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future”, will take place at the school premises, featuring various activities, including cultural performances, exhibitions and a keynote address by the director.
The business community, parents, politicians, and old students now in the public space will join the ceremony to be presided over by the school director Ibrahim Yunus.
Since its inception, the school has made a lot of contributions to the community, providing top-notch education to students from diverse backgrounds.
Located on plot 2,16 Scot Road, in the former Walukuba/Masese Division now a parish in Southern Division, Horizon International School Uganda offers a comprehensive curriculum spanning early years,primary,lower and upper secondary, as well as renowned Cambridge sections, including A-level and IGCSE.

In addition to academic excellence, Sekitoleko notes that Horizon International School also focuses on the holistic development of the students through extracurricular programmes, cultural events and community service projects which provide students with many leadership and skills opportunities.

The Kiira/Jinja Regional Police spokesperson SP James Mubi has welcomed the celebrations, saying Horizon International School is one of the strategic stakeholders in the region.
“…we have not experienced any single case of crime-related activities usually common in many schools in the region, so we commend the management of this unique school…”, SP James Mubi said.
He has asked members of the general public to continue supporting the school because of the economic multiplier effects that will always accrue from the existence of Horizon International in Jinja City.
