High Court has denied prime murder suspect Matthew Kanyamunyu bail as the co-accused, Joseph Kanyamunyu and Cynthia Munwangari are granted bail.
The trio was denied bail in its first application on grounds that they had no permanent address by High Court Judge Elizabeth Kibula Kabanda.
Last week, the trio’s second bail hearing was assigned to Judge Yasin Nyanzi of the High Court in Kampala.
Prosecution alleges that the accused and others still at large on November 12, 2016 along Jinja Road opposite Malik car caused the death of Kenneth Akena, the community development officer, employed by a local non-governmental organization.
