Famous Crimes reporter Stanley Ndawula has vowed to wage a war against former employer Red Pepper Publication whom he accuses of ‘character assassination’.
Recently, The Investigator online news media boss claimed that Police is accusing him of being connected to the murder of the late AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi adding that he got phone calls from security operatives warning him to disappear from vicinity for a while because he is being put on the suspects list regarding the murder of the slain police spokesperson.
However, Red Pepper got his message the other way round, and during one of its publication, alleged that Ndawula said he knows who killed Kaweesi, which allegation the journalist denies.
Ndawula wrote on his Facebook page;
When I posted here that The storm was over, I thought I was bringing good news to good friends. But it seems my friends (can I still address them as so?) in Namanve instead got hurt ?! They picked ‘My Last Word’ story and twisted the headline in a manner that undoubtedly incites the bereaved family, friends and detectives’ against my person! Since I left Namanve on November 5th 2012, I have never thought of hitting back at them. What should I do really!? Well, it’s true. It’s never over until it’s Over. Temunnenya.
