The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Gen. Kale Kayihura has wondered what could be the main reason why Junior ICT minister Aida Nantaba is ever on his nerves.
While responding to Nantaba’s claims that the police boss wants to harm her since she was against Kayihura and tycoon Moses Karangwa’s actions of evicting thousands of people in Kayunga a few years back.
Nantaba says Kayihura is behind some bad motives towards her citing that sometime back in 2015, police officers attacked her in relation to Kayunga land wrangles, but when she reported to Kayihura, he gave her a deaf ear. She further claims that Kayihura is a busy offering a supportive hand to Lands Minister Persis Namuganza whom she claims has done more harm than ever in promoting land grabbing in her Kayunga.
However, Kayihura says he has no bad intention towards the minister and he keeps on wondering why she has become a pain in the throat to the extent of reporting him to President Yoweri Museveni.
Kayihura has advised the Kayunga MP to sort herself with Karangwa and Namuganza instead of involving him in non issues yet he has a lot of other things to do.
“If Nantaba has issues with me, he should avail them in a proper manner as a minister rather than tarnishing my name,” Kayihura exclaimed.
