Inspector General of Police Gen Kale Kayihura has spoken out on the death of his blue eyed boy, AIGP Andrew Felix Kaweesi who was shot dead on Friday morning in Kulambiro, a Kampala suburb.
Kayihura who revealed that police have been getting warnings from criminals that they would hit them “where it hurts” also said that the assailants pretended to fix a broken motorcycle as they waited for their target. They finished him at 9.30am together with his bodyguard and driver in a shooting that is said to have lasted about 10 minutes.
“They have killed our officer but they haven’t finished us. We will get them,” said the IGP.
