The Ministry of Works and Transport has extended the deadline for vehicle inspection due to delayed construction of other inspection stations.
According to National Road Safety Council Secretary Ronald Amanyire, they had to extend the inspection because construction of Nabbingo, Namulanda and Namanve inspection points is underway.
He says a new deadline will be communicated later after the construction of the three inspection points.
Amanyire further stated that inspections for upcountry areas will be conducted by mobile inspection vans and dates will be communicated.
“We have mobile inspection vans to conduct the exercise upcountry,” Amanyire said.
