Red Pepper publishers, Pepper Publication has ceased publishing Hello, Emalalu and Akapapula tabloids due to poor sales.
The decision to halt the three tabloids was reached by Top management during a meeting on Wednesday afternoon.
Hello was created to compete effectively with various tabloids especially Vision Group’s The Sun but since its launch a few years back, Hello has failed to sustain its importance to the public.
According to some top notches in the company, Hello has been full of defamatory content which has attracted a number of advertisers to shun away from the publication thus rendering the company profitless.
Apparently, Pepper Publication is facing alot of challenges which have been sparked off by ‘defamatory’ Hello tabloid due to endless complaints which in return call for payment of damages.
