At least Shs2.4 trillion
shillings of oil revenues received since 2010 has not been consigned to Bank of Uganda.
That revelation was made by Bank of Uganda officials as
they appeared before the parliamentary committee
investigating the shs6 billion oil cash that was given to 42
government officials for their role in Tullow, Heritage oil capital gains case.
On Tuesday , the Parliamentary Committee on Commissions, Statutory Authorities and State Enterprises (COSASE ) chaired by Abdu Katuntu has given the Auditor General, John Muwanga up to 6th March to produce an audit report on Ministry of
Energy oil revenue receipts.
The committee resolved to audit the oil receipts following conflicting figures oil revenue receipts submitted by the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development.
