Last month, celebrated media personality Frank Walusimbi quit his news anchoring job at NTV Uganda, after 15 years of service.
“Frank Walusimbi anchored his last #NTVAkawungeezi bulletin today. He has served the station for over 15 years and we believe that his work with us including shows like #Tuwaye and #EbigamboTebitta have positively impacted many,” NTV Uganda management tweeted on 28 April, 2022.
The station added, ” Thank you Frank and we wish you the best.”
Now we have been reliably informed that Walusimbi decided to resign from NTV after landing a juicy job at United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR).
In an already finalised deal, the media personality will be working for the UN Agency as a Communications Officer and an official confirmation and statement from the UN Agency is expected soon according to a trusted source.
