It has been a great shock to many Ugandans on learning that Moroto Woman MP Annie Logiel has died.
Parliament has confirmed that Logiel died on Tuesday morning in Denmark.
According to Chris Obore, parliament’s Communications Director, It’s true she has died. She had tumor on the brain and went to Denmark for a surgery but did not make it.
“Details on when the body will be flown back to Uganda and funeral arrangements will be announced in due course,” Obore stated.
The deceased has been the Vice Chairperson on the Parliamentary health committee.
