Former Buganda Premier Dan Muliika has pinned President Yoweri Museveni for carrying out Milton Obote’s program of destroying cultural institutions.
While appearing on NBS TV’s Topical Discussion on Tuesday morning , the former Katikiro said Museveni put in place a system of removing cultural leaders and one of them is appointing them in controversial jobs.
“I think Museveni is carrying out Obote’s program of ‘destroying cultural institutions’. Look at how he handled Mumbere,” Muliika stated.
There is a system of removing cultural leaders and one of them is appointing them in controversial jobs.
Muliika further urged President Museveni to apologize for making ‘I’m not your servant’ statement adding that he should even repent because he didn’t go the bush alone.
“President Museveni should apologize for making ‘I’m not your servant’ statement. He should even repent. He didn’t go to the bush alone. He went to the bush as servant of the people. That’s why gives out medals,” he said adding that Museveni is not a fountain of honour. There is a constitution. This is why Uganda is going to the dogs. We have over uplifted him.
