Uganda National Road Authority (UNRA) Executive Director, Allen Kagina is due to commission 40 trucks at Uganda Roads Authority service station Mpigi.
The road maintenance trucks will be distributed across the country to bolster road maintenance and construction.
The first batch of trucks cost up to 10.6billion, with each going for 265million shillings, taxes inclusive.
The Authority says 68 more are still under procurement (at the stage of contract signing), and will soon be added to this fleet.
