On Tuesday, Uganda National Examination Board ( UNEB) released last year’s Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) and St. Mary’s Kitende emerged best overall after registering 430 first grades and only two with second grades.
However, the school’s excellent performance didn’t not appeal to some Ugandans and among the discontented ones include BBC radio broadcaster, Alan Kasujja.
While on Twitter, Kasujja inquired whether the UNEB exams are set in Kitende saying that he disputes the results.
“But are these exams set in Kitende??? 430 in Div 1 and 2 Div 2. I’m sorry! Nanyanga!” Kasujja tweeted.
Recently a video emerged on social media showing students of St. Mary Kitende being helped by one of the teachers to cheat the final exams but the responsible authorities gave it a deaf ear.
