Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga has appointed his second Deputy Owek Twaha Kawaase to lead the team that will organise this year’s Kabaka Birthday. Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II turns 62 on April 13, 2017. The events will include the annual Kabaka Birthday Run with proceeds going to Sickle Cell treatment. Previously, the runs have supported Fistula treatment.
The main celebrations will be held at Lubiri High School Buloba Campus.
It is expected that Kabaka Mutebi will officially open the new multimillion building block the school has been constructing.
Since the appointment of Mayiga as Katikkiro, the Kabaka’s Birthday is marked with a major milestone. These have included the opening of Masengere, BBS Tv and now Buloba campus.
