Singer Bebe Cool, real name Moses Ssali has come out to dismiss rumours that he is battling with Covid-19.
A few days ago, Bebe Cool shared a video on his Snapchat page and captioned it “Thinking what to do with this Covid-19”. In this video he looked so unwell.
Based on the caption and physical appearance of the singer, most of his followers concluded that he might be battling with Covid-19.
But in a video shared on his social media pages on Tuesday, ‘Big size’ dismissed these allegations, saying that he has been battling with Malaria and Typhoid, not Covid-19.
“I would like to clarify about something that has been making rounds on social media that I am battling with Covid, that is not true, I am not battling with Covid, I had malaria and Typhoid which which put me down for the last two and a half weeks but I am now fine,” he said.
The singer however advised people to remain cautious about Covid-19, wear masks, practice social distance, sanitise and follow other Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), or stay at home if necessary to avoid spread of the diseases.
