Kawempe North Member of Parliament Muhammad Ssegirinya has bought ambulances for his residents.
Ssegirinya made the revelation through his Facebook page on Thursday.
He said he had already procured a motor vehicle and boda boda ambulance for his constituency.
“Kawempe North get ready for both Ambulances …..boda boda ambulance and motorcar Ambulance,” the legislator noted.
Last month after swearing as Kawempe North MP, Ssegirinya promised to give Shs100, 000 to every family in his constituency.
He disclosed that he has a system known as ‘Ssegi box’ and he is going to use it to cater for every family in his constituency.
“I have a system in Kawempe called ‘Segi box’. I will give each and every family Shs100, 000. I won’t buy the car, I will use my car,” Ssegirinya who is yet to receive his first parliament salary said.
He added that buying an expensive car is an extravagance.
“If you can recall the French revolution about Marie Antoinette, they were busy buying expensive cars when their people are suffering. I don’t want to be like that,” he asserted.
