Model Judith Heard has raised Uganda’s flag high after winning the Miss Elite Africa crown 2021-2022 in Egypt.
The pageantry took place on Saturday night in Somebay, a modern town resort at the Red Sea and the Grand Finale at Fairmont Nile City, Cairo, Egypt.
In this pageant race, contestants present their own nation’s identity alongside their distinctive beauty, culture, tradition and ethnicity on a world platform to determine the Miss Elite.
And Uganda’s 34-year-old beauty queen made history as the first person above 28 years to compete with contestants who are still in their 20s and later walked away with the crown.
Proud of this achievement, Heard shared the news on her Instagram page thanking Ugandans for voting for her.
“Thank you Uganda and the entire world. Allow me to reintroduce myself, I am @misseliteafrica 2021-2022,” she shared on Saturday.
Miss Mexico Fernanda Pumar walked away with the top crown of Miss Elite World 2021-2022.
This year’s pageant race had 31 contestants from different countries like Kenya, South Sudan, Morocco, India, Greece, Lebanon, Finland, Canada, Sweden, USA, Cyprus among others.
The jury panel which consisted of renowned icons, considered the models’ physique, potential individuals, intellect, beauty and most importantly the ability to captivate the audience with their ethic representations while at the cradle of all civilizations.
