Singer Hassan ‘George William’ Kigozi famously known as Geosteady has bad news for people who thought he will be running from Islamic faith back to Christianity.
Many people took Geosteady convert to Islam as a joke because his fellows like Chameleone, Omulangira Suuna, Hajjati Madina among others have been jumping from one religion to another, so many thought it was just a stunt or he wanted to pursue a certain goal.
But Geosteady is not planning to give up on his new faith, and good news coming from the singer is that he has been blessed with a holy trip to Mecca, the holy city of Islam.
“Allah blessed me with Umrah to Mecca and Madina through thurayaa safaris. The point is who Jah bless no man curse,” the singer said in a Facebook post on Thursday.
Umrah is a holy Islamic pilgrimage to Mecca, the holiest city in the Islamic faith located in the Hejazi region of Saudi Arabia. Umrah can be undertaken at any time of the year in contrast to the Hajj.
This pilgrimage offers an opportunity for Muslims to refresh their faith, seek forgiveness and pray for their needs.One who performs it is said to be cleansed of their sins.
