Singer Bruno ‘K’ Kiggundu has narrated how he lost all respect he had for former Uganda Musician Association (UMA) president Ykee Benda after he slept with his girlfriend.
The ‘Nkoye okulowoza’ singer told MC Ibrah K Mukasa during Wolokosa xtra show a few days ago, that he used to respect Ykee Benda but all that was lost on the day, he stole his girlfriend whom he (Bruno) had dated for six years. He noted that Benda knew about his girlfriend but that did not stop him from sleeping with her.
Bruno said that one day he found Benda and his girlfriend standing together and when he intervened to find out what was happening, Benda surprisingly jumped in and pushed Bruno, telling him to leave his girlfriend.
“I found them at Liquid Silk and Ykee showed me bad manners. He wanted to fight me over the same girl. He pushed me and asked me to stay away from his girlfriend, the girl I had been with for six years but Benda stole her in one week,” he said.
“I wanted to beat him because I don’t think he has any energy to match mine, you know he is short and I am taller, but he was very drunk and wasted.”
Bruno K further disclosed that the incident broke his heart so much that he thought of committing suicide, but his fellow singer A Pass came to his rescue and advised him to move on and concentrate on his career.
However, not to Bruno’s surprise, Benda and the girl’s relationship didn’t last for even a month, since after the singer finished using her, he took off.
