Ugandans are more likely to die from suicide, save for people in Mozambique, Tanzania and Burundi who come ahead us in the latest ranking by worldlifeexpectancy.com.
Uganda comes number four in Africa and only beaten by the countries named above. In the world, according the suicide map on http://www.worldlifeexpectancy.com/cause-of-death/suicide/by-country/, Uganda is number 17.
Guyana holds the place of the most people susceptible to suicide in the world with 43.22% of the world’s suicide cases. Uganda shares 18.67%. The website watches suicide cases in 172 countries.
The staggering statistics point to a bigger problem, including people’s mental status.
