Kampala City Lord mayor, Erias Lukwago has mocked President Yoweri Museveni saying that now days he is doing the opposite of what he wrote in his edition of ‘Sowing the Mustard seed’.
Lukwago asserted that he can’t imagine that a person who aptly diagnosed the fundamental problem afflicting Africa-being longevity in power-is shamelessly entrenching a family rule.
“As we go merry making during this festive season, may we critically reflect on the future of this country? Can’t imagine that a person who aptly diagnosed the fundamental problem afflicting Africa – being longevity in power – is shamelessly entrenching a family rule. What happened to the revolutionary ideals that took him to the bush?” Lukwago said.
“ We need to call for divine intervention to get the Pearl of Africa off the prespice. Wish you all the best throughout the festive season and beyond. May God bless you all,” he added
