Mukono Municipality MP Betty Nambooze who recently underwent a successful operation in India has released images of her broken backbone.
The legislator was operated on her back early this month after being flown to India confined in a wheelchair as she could not move her spinal cord after a confrontation with security officers at parliament in September during a fracas over age limit bill.
Posting on her Facebook page, Nambooze revealed that government wanted to assassinate her but by God’s grace she is still alive.
“So in brief the Regime had intended to murder me on the 27th of September 2017 when they invaded Parliament…I was specifically targeted for assassination and it’s only by God’s grace that am still alive. Those are pictures of the X-ray of my backbone,” she posted.
