The wave of ‘new’ CEOs in telecoms has seen Vodafone Uganda get a Burkinabe as its CEO.
If the only Burkinabe you knew was Thomas Sankara, now, put your hands together for John Ndego.
Ndego, who has worked for several telecom and advertising companies, started work on July 111. He replaces Allan Richardson who has successfully established Vodafone on the Ugandan market especially in the data sector.
The new Vodafone CEO has previously worked as Managing Director,Airtel Congo Brazzaville and Airtel Burkina Faso.
Ndego holds a bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications.
